Google has recently answered regarding an unintentional revelation of a new Nest smart speaker. The company, Google has submitted an official picture of the device in existence, to The Verge. The company has mentioned it as “what the Nest team is working on from home.”
Like Google Home Max and Nest Mini
The speaker that the company is currently working on looks like the larger Google Home Max and like the pillowy Nest Mini. Basically, it lies somewhere between the two. In the picture, it is shown covered up in a blue fabric while the pictures in the filing suggest the color to be neutral grey. The company has even launched a teaser video. This video reveals how the speaker with some pink color variant. In the picture released although the back area of the new Nest smart speaker is not visible. However, a wire is visible extending from the back of the speaker. Moreover, for voice assisting features, the product is expected to use Google Assistant
When will Google’s new Nest smart speaker launch?
However, we all know how Google’s hardware products are infamous for escaping early. Therefore, with Pixel 4, it’s quite nice to see Google moving forward from that reality. Also, this device is looked up as to a competition to the Sonos One. The device will be launched after almost four years post the earlier launches. As the company launched its first or original Google Home in 2016. The Company has not released any official date for the new Nest speaker to be launched. In fact, the Company has not even revealed how much would it roughly cost and if it will the next Google Nest. We can only speculate these things related to the new Nest smart speaker. However, believing speculations, the device might launch later this year.
