Rambo: Last Blood is initially broadcasted as the final portrayal of Sylvester Stallone’s iconic action hero John Rambo. The actor has hinted about the fact that the sixth film would feature him. And the same could happen in the near days.
While promoting the release of the film’s extended cut on iTunes, in an Instagram post, Stallone jas teased that the character could return. He could return with the same character for a new adventure on the big screen. He referred to the extended cut as the “real journey” of Rambo in the movie. The extended cut has been released in foreign markets. It has the extra time of 12 additional minutes. Also, it includes the new opening sequence.
Rambo: Last Blood follows the story of Rambo who has retired to a life of peace on the ranch of his family in Arizona. He is shown caring for the granddaughter named Gabrielle. Gabrielle is being kidnapped by Mexican Cartels. Rambu goes to find the south of the border so as to rescue her.
The Film Got Received Quite Well
The film has marked the fifth appearance of the character. Stallone’s fifth appearance is marked by the film. It was done after the first portrayal of Rambo in First Blood in 1982. The movie is based on the novel with the same name. The novel is written by David Morrell. The film got released in theatres last year, i.e. last September. It is in fact that the film had earned the score by professional critics that are 27% on the aggregate review site Rotten Tomatoes. Also, it is said that the film has earned $91.5 million on the very reposted budget of $50 million.
