The movie Mad Max: Fury Road has been a commercial success. It’s quite new for us to believe that a movie like this can be a huge success. As the film is both an over-the-top action hit and post-apocalyptic dramatic. It includes so many strange elements that it’s quite difficult to find a studio for the story. The director George Miller stated such an element as Doof Warrior who was set aside by Warner Bros. after the first test screening.
In a recent interview with New York Times George said, “The Doof Warrior tested really badly at first. We had temp music, and whenever the Doof Warrior played in the test screening, it was the same riff, so it got annoying. A couple of people at the studio said, ‘Oh, we’ve got to drop the Doof Warrior.’ I said, ‘No no, it’s way too early to even think of that”.

The character Doof Warrior was a blind music guitarist who was in-charge of sick riff play on his fire-rifting guitar. Doof Warrior is the utmost metal character ever made by anyone for a movie and the reason why he was almost cut by Warner Bros. was that his guitar’s tune was very irritating.
The character could be a part of the film after the real junkie XL score was included. And hence became everyone’s favorite for playing his fierce guitar. He seriously gave no fucks about the havoc happening around him between Mad Max’s crew and Joe’s army.
Where did they film Mad Max: Fury Road?
The complete behind the scenes of Mad Max: Fury Road seems like war as the Miller’s version of the story was never matchable with what the cast and crew had thought. The shooting was done for weeks in the desert. The amazing stunts that we saw in the film were performed there rather than being dependent on CGI. However, the miscommunication between the production teams and other members lead to many disturbances and that made the project difficult to complete.
Fortunately, the most awaited film of the decade, which was believed to be the grandest action film of the decade was successfully made by George Miller’s devotion. There were many characters in the movie that got the popularity, one of them was the Imperator Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron. She has now become the new gold standard when it comes to the female protagonist category.
Moreover, a sequel to the movie is already in the planning process. The sequel will feature Max Rockatansky’s return. Let’s hope for the best and see what they have to offer their next amazing sequel.
