Fans know already that Marvel characters were previously owned by Fox. The X-Men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool were heading towards MCU. But Marvel Studios has always been quite over its plans to bring these heroes into the Universe.
There is no official announcement. The internet is filled with wild rumors and speculations. Fans agree that MCU and X-Men are likely to follow a complete reboot. But they feel there’s a chance of some characters like Deadpool that may survive the transition.
Here is this popular notion that says MCU will introduce its key X-Men characters slowly. Later those heroes will unite to form a team of superheroes. And the rumors are keeping this intact.
There is a report that supports this long-standing theory. Youtube channel Everything Always shows Mikey Sutton reporting the rumor. He says that the original X-Men character Beast is on his way towards the MCU. Beast is played earlier by Kelsey Grammer. And now Nicholas Hoult will be making his debut on S.W.O.R.D. Disney + series that is unannounced till now.
S.W.O.R.D and S.H.I.E.L.D. Are Having Equal Importance in Marvel
S.W.O.R.D. is a cosmic equivalent to S.H.I.E.L.D. in Marvel Comics. It focuses on intergalactic threats. The post-credit scene of Spiderman: Far From Home has shown the need for S.W.O.R.D.
This untitled show will serve as an important point for many Marvel characters. Especially for Beast, the character is linked romantically to Abigail Branch i.s. the commander of S.W.O.R.D.
It sounds like Phase 5 will be having an introduction to X-Men. S.W.O.R.D. seems to be the part of MCU’s upcoming plans to bring Beast to Marvel Universe this way would help the studio.
After all, giving a solo movie to the core X-Men does not make sense. It will not be practical. So, Marvel will aim to give some individual introductions for the mutants. S.W.O.R.D. will introduce Beast.
In any case, they are all reports right now that are rumors of course. But fans shouldn’t be shocked to confront their favorite mutant heroes one by one in Phase 5.
