Michael Keaton has been in talks for a long time to reprise the role of Bruce Wayne (Batman) in DC’s The Flash movie. Keaton played the Caped Crusader in Batman (1989) by Tim Burton. Again he has played in (1992) Batman Returns. The Batman franchise continued further but Keaton and Burton have decided to part ways. Since this time, there are many actors who have played Batman like Ben Affleck. He has occurred in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League as well.
Warner Bros. is developing a solo movie while casting Ezra Miller as Barry Allen i.e. The Flash. The project has been through many directors and so the same is stuck in terms of development. This has resulted in the delay of the release.
Introducing The New Lead Will Introduce The Notions of Multiverse
Most, IT director Andy Muschietti entered to steer The Flash movie. This has followed the storyline of the Flashpoint from DC Comics. This story follows Barry traveling back in time to protect his mother. In the cycle, he establishes a whole new alternate universe. It seems that DC’s The Flash movie will be introducing the belief of the multiverse to the DCEU with the help of Keaton as Bruce Wayne.
According to The Wrap, Keaton is in the early stages of conversation to play the role of Bruce Wayne (Batman) in the movie The Flash. It is, though not confirmed yet. But if confirmed, Michael Keaton will be playing Batman from his 80s and 90s’ film. Maybe the movie will disclose his life after he has departed. There is a possibility of Keaton’s character to be portrayed as a mentor. If he returns, he will surely be seen in multiple DCEU movies.
Introducing Keaton as Batman may fix the universe that is shaken because of the missing Batman issue after Affleck has left the role. If the same follows, then maybe Warner Bros. will be enabled to move further with the character development of Bruce Wayne. More details are expected to come soon.
