“Enter the Phoenix” will hit theatres in December this year. Marvel is celebrating the heritage of the Phoenix Force. X-Men’s Jean Grey and the cosmic entity of destruction and rebirth, the Phoenix Force shares a long history.
Also, Marvel Universe’ different covers depicts that there may be popular Marvel heroes who will become the Phoenix Force’s new hosts in “Enter the Phoenix”.
Marvel’s narration of the variant covers reads:
“‘I am Phoenix!’ Those immortal words will take on new life this December when Jason Aaron and Javier Garron’s next great Avengers epic, ‘Enter the Phoenix,’ begin.”
“To anticipate the return of the cosmic chaos-bringer, your favorite Marvel characters will be reborn as Phoenix hosts this November in astonishing variant covers by some of the industry’s top artists.”
Moreover, the announcement also depicts the detailed account of the Enter the Phoenix’s plot. It states, “Captain America, Black Panther, and She-Hulk are no longer the heroes you knew as they bond with the Phoenix Force to spread rebirth—or destruction—throughout the Marvel Universe.”
“In the end, only one will be chosen to wield this terrifying and great power when the Phoenix Force chooses a new host.”
The most famous host of the Phoenix Force has always been Jean Grey. However, many other superheroes and characters have been linked with Phoenix Force as its host over the years. These hosts have been linked with Phoenix Force temporarily. Moreover, the list of these hosts includes Wolverine’s future version, Spiderman, Cyclops, Magik, Emma Frost, Magik, Rachel Summers, and Namor.
While the variant covers of the Phoenix Force will be out in November. Fans will have to wait for the movie, “Enter the Phoenix” to release in December this year.
