Who will fight the Joker war, Batman might need Nightwing to bring down the Clown Prince of Crime. All being done for the Joker War in Gotham City. However, he gonna face some heavy competition for sure.
After acquiring the totality of the latest stolen Wayne Family Fortune, Joker has become even more strong and powerful. He has everything he needs from strength to finance to actually destroy Gotham City. Although, Dark Knight would be seen alone at the beginning of the war, away from his allies and family. Moreover, in Nightwing #72 Joker played a trick with Dick Grayson’s mind and transformed him into his son.
Joker brainwashed Nightwing
In this latest issue, Joker’s brainwashing of Nightwing’s mind was yet another dramatic turn of events. It would be very easy for Joker to do all this to Dick Grayson given his already frangible mind. As, a few years back, Dick Grayson was shot by KGBeast in the head. Since then he has been suffering from Amnesia. he decides to forego the Nightwing persona and his earlier identity and life by adopting the name Ric. He even consulted a neuro specialist but it was of no help to him since the doctor was himself linked to Court of Owls. He tried to frame Ric in a way that would benefit the Court of Owls as their next Talon assassin. But thankfully, Dick didn’t fall the trap and actually got away. He was able to regain his memory as Dick Grayson.
In Nightwing #72, Joker found the same crystal used by dick’s neuro specialist and used it to bring Dick Grayson on his side. Joker wanted dick on his side along with his latest girlfriend Punchline. Moreover, Batgirl wanted to help Dick and even tried her best but was struck by his reluctant betrayal. In the end, Joker could be seen with his arms around Punchline and Dick. They were standing near the unconscious Batgirl.
Joker War in Batman #95
It seemed that Dick was in Joker’s control until the latter was wearing the crystal around his neck. If lucky enough, Dick could only be saved by our very own Batgirl. However, only Batman would be able to save both of them from Joker’s trap. Ultimately, what Joker wants is his fight with Batman to be the most memorable one. And for this, he did everything possible from the start. Its a lot of time until fans will get to see the Joker War in Batman #95.
