Paul Bettany while talking to the media said that he will be more than happy to play Vision as long as he could.
WandaVision star Paul Bettany recently revealed that he would be happy playing Vision as long as he could. WandaVison on Disney+ got immensely popular and had a great finale. The show had a great run and fans are excited about the future plans of Marvel for the characters. Marvel has stepped into the web show business and seems to be going strong are great. The upcoming shows include The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki.
It is great to see Marvel finally focus more on some rather shadowed characters. Paul Bettany was introduced as J.A.R.V.I.S in Iron man as the voice of Iron Man’s AI assistant. Paul only did this as a favour to his friend Jon Favreau who was the director of the Iron Man movie. They both had worked before in the romantic comedy Wimbledon. Jon knew that Paul would be perfect for the job and urged him to take the part, and that was the entry of Paul in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After the character of Vision was introduced in the MCU fans were excited and crazy about the new addition. Vision is an android created by Ultron as a better version of himself. WandaVision gave the characters a space to tell their own stories and a stage that had a focus on them. Many such shadowed characters are getting attention and enough stage time making new impressions of characters among fans.
When asked by a reporter if Paul would play Vision forever, he said “Yes I love Vision, I am in”. Paul Bettany has been quite impressive and his acting has been great in WandaVision. Though the series end saw an emotional ending to Vision as Paul Bettany’s character remains behind as a complete White Vision and his red version departs, fans loved the series. White Vision and the mystery about him is really exciting and have left the fans eager to know what happens ahead.
The series has been an amazing run especially the penultimate episode where Paul delivered the line about preserving love, it was quite the highlight. The show writers and creators have really put thought and creativity into their creations. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany have both delivered their full potential acting and this is just a start. This new version of Marvel where every character is getting their own story and their own spotlight is exciting. We hope to see many more shows and movies where the stories of shadowed characters come to light.
