Forbes reported that Parrot Analytics recorded a somewhat short viewing metrics, struggling between number 7 and 35 positions worldwide, eventually with the release of its third episode on 22 January, the series’ views got a little boost and it acquired the second spot in three of the most “in – demand” series. Not long after that, WandaVision was able to win the title of “Number 1 Series Worldwide”, with its viewing metrics tearing through the roof.

WandaVision’s Secret To Success

Parrot Analytics concluded that the key reason behind WandaVision’s increasing popularity is its weekly release schedule. This was a little strange move considering the growing trend of the Bingeable and whole season format that is used by many other shows. Wade Payson – Denny, who is an insight analyst at Parrot Analytics, stated

“When we see a binge release series as we do on Netflix, We’re seeing demand skyrocket at first for like a week.”

He added that Netflix shows like Cobra Kai and The Crown are examples of the shows that have done the opposite, saying:

“They really pop up a first but quickly trail off. It’s a quick hit for these streamers. Whereas with the weekly release, we see popularity gradually build over time, especially for a show like The Mandalorian and WandaVision.”

WandaVision Is The Most Popular Show

Disneyplus’s WandaVision

Starring Elizabeth Olsen, playing Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. Scarlet Witch, and Paul Bettany, playing Vision, the series follows the events of Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame. In the sorrowful climax of Avengers: Infinity War, Vision was killed twice, firstly by Wanda,  in an attempt to save half of the universe and secondly by Thanos, In order to obliterate half of all living beings in the universe.

After the Epic Battle for the universe took place between the Avengers and Thanos, the half of the all the universe’s beings that were lost to the Snap in the previous movie were bought back to life including Wanda. Sadly, Vision was killed by Brute strength and not the Snap. In WandaVision, the character is revived, by whom and how are still a mystery though. However every episode of WandaVision has continually shocked the was with its mysterious cliffhangers.

The last episode released on February 19, finally revealed who the big bad of the series is. Revealing the fact that Agnes, Wanda, and Vision’s lovely neighbor is actually a magical wielding villain, Agatha Harkness, who was pulling the strings on Westview from behind the scenes, is undoubtedly the biggest and most exciting revelation in the series so far. With this much thrill-packed in it, it’s no wonder how WandaVision made it to the top.
