The Preview of James Tynion IV’s “Year of The Villain: Hell Arisen” is making its way as it will be going on sale from 26th February. The part has gained a lot of attention even before its launch. It has already been decided by DC that it will be a second printing. It has also been revealed that the new villain Punchline, that is taking the place of Harley Quinn will join this.
Earlier comics like “Dark Nights: Death Metal” has brought many changes to the world of DC, and have introduced the fans to the new villain. The series will be including ‘metaverse’ that will be enlarging a vast world that has already been created by the storyline of Death Metal.
The events will be following the storyline that suggests the multiverse energy has consumed the Earth, which has later been conquered by the Batman Who Laughs and his evil supporters. Whereas, Wonder Woman and the Flash try to negotiate on the same so that humanity stays alive. It also suggests Superman who has been imprisoned.
A mysterious figure gives the information to the Wonder Woman in order to save Earth from the Batman Who Laughs. It is interesting to see how the Justice League breaks away from the Dark Multiverse. The influence of the Batman Who Laughs emerges throughout the plot. Apex Lex Luthor’s plan does not go as planned and thus the influence continues. Now his duty becomes more important to find the one that can overcome the Batman Who Laughs. There are two in mind of Lex: the Batman and the Joker who is interested in sending his doppelganger to the dark multiverse. It will be showing how Lex will be taking Earth back from the evil interests of the Batman Who Laughs.
