Here is new fan art that sees Sophie Turner as a Supergirl in DCEU. Sophie Turner has played Sansa Stark in all 8 seasons of Game of Thrones. She has been seen growing from a child to a cunning queen in the show. Outside this, she has appeared as Jean Grey in 2 movies, X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) and X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019). Both of the movies were panned by critics. The latter has turned out to be a massive flop on the box office in 2019.
Supergirl Sophie turner was introduced way back in 1959. She is the cousin of Superman’s Kal-El, Kara Zor-El. The character has gone through many incarnations since then. Helen Slater had played the superhero in 1984. Melissa Benoist is playing Supergirl on the CW series of the same name these days. It is set to release in 2021. The series is said to have 6 episodes. “Supergirl” takes place in Arrowverse and is separate from the movie version. In DCEU, the character is not yet introduced. However, there were running rumors about Supergirl getting her own movie.
Fan-art featuring Sophie Turner as Supergirl
ApexForm, a digital artist, has come up with the pictures of Sophie Turner, where she looks like a Supergirl. The fan art is resonating with a poster from X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Turner’s outfit has been replaced with the outfit of Supergirl. The image is completed by adding a cape and high boots. Turner’s eyes are glowing red.
Though, Sophie Turner looks excellent. Her blondes are fitting the traditional version of Supergirl. This denotes, she will be able to pull off the character.
Her performance in X-Men: Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix were far from perfect. She was required to carry an emotional burden and struggled. The script she was provided to perform with was not tremendous in the first place. But, Turner however strived to perform convincingly in the role.
