The show started in 2017 and has been a fan favorite ever since and fans definitely are rooting for Greenhouse Academy season 5.
The series started off strong back in 2017 and ever since it began, this suspenseful tween drama became a huge success and till its entire 4 seasons (that is 41 episodes) the show kept moving from strength to strength. But as it is rightly said “Nothing lasts forever”, that is exactly what the case was with Greenhouse Academy too. These days, nothing seems certain as to which series will continue or which one will get canceled, which one will be returning, or which one will be completely leaving Netflix for real.
GREENHOUSE ACADEMY STORYLINE
The front and center of the show are teen siblings – Hayley and Alex. They enter into an elite boarding school and find it filled with romance, rivalry, and most importantly mysteries related to the death of their mother. Based on the Israeli television series “The Greenhouse”, Greenhouse Academy received all sorts of accolades from the fans. But the viewership didn’t grow towards the later part of the year and the years that followed it. The initial buzz around this scientific melodrama seemed to dwindle towards the end.
GREENHOUSE ACADEMY SEASON 5 HAPPENING?
Unfortunately, for the fans of Greenhouse Academy, there’s a dark cloud hovering over it and Netflix has not renewed the show this year. Despite the popularity the show was surrounded with, Netflix canceled the show after 4th season and the curse around the Netflix Originals that it gets canceled continues. But the Netflix cancellation doesn’t mean that the show might not be released somewhere else.
But for the disappointed fans, tune into the previous seasons and enjoy this zingy teen mystical drama.
