Suits: Will There Be a Season 10?
Suits‘ ninth season was extended in January 2019. The fact that this would be the show’s last season was also revealed. The program held the record for USA Network’s longest-running original scripted series at the time. Instead of the previous season’s 16 episodes, the ninth season was renewed for 10. At the conclusion of nine seasons, there would be 134 episodes.
The decision to cancel the series was explained by Chris McCumber, President of USA Network and SyFy, as “Suits has played a vital role in our network’s DNA for nearly a decade.” Aaron Korsh, our collaborators at UCP, and the entire Suits family deserve the deepest gratitude from me and everyone at USA Network for their incredible creativity, dedication, and support throughout a truly spectacular run. The cast’s contract expired, and Megan Markle, who portrayed Rachel Zane on the show, became the Duchess of Sussex, bringing the series to an end. Patrick J. Adams, who plays Mike Ross, chose to end the show as well. The greatest way to do the show justice was then used to wrap it up.
