Marvel fans are heavily appreciating Woody Harrelson’s titular villain in the recently dropped first trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage. In the post-credit scene of the 2018 movie, Woody Harrelson debuted as serial killer Cletus Kasady. But this time around he will be seen bonding with the Carnage symbiote in order to become the nemesis of Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock.
Although Harrelson’s cameo in the first movie received mixed reactions which were mainly because of the tacky wig and the cheesy dialogues, this time around with Andy Serkis in the director’s chair in place of Ruben Fleischer, things look way more promising and sinister.

The CGI used to bring the Carnage monster to life is pretty great, too, on top of Woody’s portrayal, with the villain looking like he’s been taken off the page of a Marvel comic, this look is complete with elongated jaws and tendrils moving everywhere. Every Marvel fan agrees that Riot was a bit of an underwhelming antagonist in Venom, so we’re hoping to get a much stronger threat to Eddie and his symbiote buddy in this follow-up.
