The latest true crime fascination, World’s Most Wanted has just launched on Netflix. We can’t be more excited! It was launched on Netflix on August 5. It offers a horrifying ride on the classic documentary series. What’s even more interesting besides the fact that it is based on true events is that every criminal that is listed in the series has never been caught.
The show is thrilling, terrifying, and full of suspense altogether. You will encounter five deadliest and noted culprits of the world. These criminals have done some most heinous crimes of all times and yet have managed to escape.
World’s most wanted and World’s most heinous crimes
Not just their heinous crimes but the show will feature the officers and the law enforcement agencies who were involved in the investigation of the cases. The would disclose crucial information and the steps taken to catch these wanted criminals to justice.
Also, the episodes aren’t of any short duration but a good 50-minute episodes.
1st Episode – The White Widow
The most exciting thing is that the series has an episode that is about Samantha Lewthwaite. She is commonly known as “The White Widow” as she was married to a 7/7 bomber. She was accused of 400 people’s death not directly but by her association with the terrorist group al Shabaab.
2nd Episode – Businessman involved in Genocide
There is another story of another criminal named Felicien Kabuga. He was a businessman from Rwanda and was believed to have some involvement in the genocide that happened in his mother country.
3rd Episode – The Mafia don
Matteo Messina, Mafia don, is another criminal whose story is included in the series. He is wanted for the killing of 50 people and is on the run since 1993.
4th Episode – Boss of the Bosses
The fourth episode covers the story of a Ukrainian-born Russian called Semion Mogilevich. He is the crime lord and is famous among the EU and US agencies. He is popularly known as “the boss of bosses”.
Semion Mogilevich is accused of contract murders, drug trafficking, weapons trafficking that too internationally. All these accusations have been imposed on him by the FBI. What’s the twist is that those who are involved in his search actually know his whereabouts.
He is living a life full of freedom in Moscow. That would be only possible if he has a good relationship with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
5th Episode – A Mexican Drug Lord
The last episode is about a Mexican drug lord called Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada. He is also accused by the FBI, who promised to give a reward of $5 million to anyone who would tell about him. Basically, the information shared should eventually lead to his arrest.
If this show becomes the most-watched show on Netflix, you never know the authorities will start taking stricter actions on these high-profile cases. And it will eventually solve one, two or all of them. Its 2020, anything is possible.
